The so-called flap with an integrated pocket conceals the side that isn't needed. You can also store equipment you need quick access to on the go in the zippered outer pocket. Everything else you need is accessible via the practical and proven roll-top closure, such as your laptop, which fits neatly into the dedicated, padded compartment.
